Who I am
As a Board Certified Master Health and Wellness Coach, Movement Specialist, Nutritionist, Healing Arts Practitioner and Doula, I have been in the wellness field for over 25 years. My background as a competitive swimmer, Alaskan Backcountry guide, retreat host, artist and earth worker/designer lends my coaching style a creative, grounded and full body approach. My education and credentials cross multiple disciplines; areas of passion developed out of love of learning, curiosity, and necessity on my own healing path.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree from Naropa University in the Arts, minoring in the Contemplative Eastern Arts of Yoga, Aikido and Meditation.
In 1998, I began to study the healing arts internationally. These private apprenticeships and group trainings greatly influence my work. Beginning in Hong Kong and Bali, I have trained with masters from Africa, Asia, Europe, North and South America. My studies include energy work, body work, one-on-one consultations, rituals, group facilitation, western herbs, wild medicinals and whole food nutrition.
A deep love of laughter, food and fun, I enjoy my free time fully. With a focus on creativity, travel, music, the arts, and community, my work/life balance is central to success. In between adventures, you will find me spending quiet days reading, resetting in nature and walking my dog at the beach.
